Time of Intercession

Just as I was thinking of a title for my personal blog, what I’ve been experiencing in this past week and just as I was in the process of my thoughts, a message popped up on my phone from google notifying Tasha Cobbs new album release “Intercession” was out.

Intercession!!!! That’s it! That’s what I wanted to title and relate my blog to.

Life is definitely a roller coaster. Sometimes you feel like you’re flying high, other times your just coasting, And other times you falling with anxiety.

Within this past week I’ve had a mixture of coasting and falling with anxiety. With the change of times in this current lifetime everyone is holding on as right as they can.

Not knowing What’s the next move will be with the current situation of Covid-19 is crazy. Waiting to hear about school for your children, trying to bridge the gap of keeping the kids entertained and learning, jobs changing policies and trying to stay afloat, people showing the best or worst of themselves. The list can’t continue. For me at this present time my mental dimension has definitely been tested. Just trying to find some calm in all of it.

What is intercession and how does it apply to what I think I’m going through this past week?

INTERCESSION- the action of intervening on behalf of another.

The Lord never ceases to amaze me! When I’m going through it’s because I feel like I have the weight of the world on me and I’m trying to still push forward with it all. I end up breaking out in crying sessions. It’s in those moments God speaks and gives me reassurance.

Reassurance that He will never leave me nor forsake me.

He always intercedes to remind me He is there and will make my burden light. I am never going through anything alone.

This is the main reason I am able to continue on doing what I do and not fall off the ledge.

Even through storms whether big or small I acknowledge God through it and I strongly believe that’s a reason He intercedes.

Even when my mental, physical, spiritual, emotional dimensions waver, it doesn’t last and He gets me back to the right pH level.

For those who didn’t not get to see my latest workout and affirmation, wanted to share with you for motivation mentally and physically.

THIS song is VERY dear to me, one of my all time favorites and the words speak life especially during this time. Song: Total Praise-

I happen to stumble on a group of beautiful singers singing the song during a peaceful protest. Listen in from the link below:
