My Nutrition habits during my fast/focus

 

Many may be wondering, while I cut out my juice and sugars “sweet tooth” what was my nutrition habits like…

So not to bore you with too many details, but I kept it pretty simple and pretty consistent. This is basically what I already had in my nutrition before I started my focus. There was one week I tried fruit slices in my water. It was ok, but I actually preferred just water.

As long as I kept protein, more complex than simple carbs and fruits/veggies in my habits, I was good to go.

Nutrition habits included but not limited to;

A lot of fruits & veggies;

  • oranges, apples or mixed fruit
  • snap peas, zucchini, squash, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes

Carbs;

  • a mix between white rice, yellow rice and quinoa/brown rice mix
  • whole grain bread with PP&J

Chicken & Fish (Salmon or Tuna)

Quinoa/Brown Rice mix with Chicken and Zuchini/Squash
Chicken, white rice, asparagus
Pasta bowl; Whole grain pasta shells, broccoli, diced tomatoes, seasoned chicken, salt/pepper & balsamic vinaigrette
Strawberries & Gala apple slices in water
Orange slices in water
