Kids Sweets

This weekend was grocery weekend and I took my daughter, Rey, with me. I had a long list of things I wanted to purchase, and most of it came from the produce isle. Strawberries, bananas, blueberries, apples, and raspberries were on that list. I already had a few other fruits at the house, but wanted to add to that.

As Brendan is still exploring his tastes and textures, Rey was not afraid to tell mommy to pull out the fruit to eat. She got so excited when I opened up the fridge and she saw the fruit.

Rey;”Mommy can I have some of those raspberries?!”

Me: “Would you like to try some blueberries and mandarin oranges with the raspberries?”

Rey:”Oh yea!! Yes mommy!”


Rey ended up asking for thirds.


This is what I would consider the kids “sweets” for the day. Nice and colorful but most of all nutritious and delicious!!
