Embrace The Process

Its so easy to attach our emotions with everything we do. We are emotional beings, some more than others.

Where does that play in our Health and fitness journey, specifically when it deals with our relationship with food??

For me, its been a roller coaster. When I am FOCUSED, no matter how emotional I get, I can channel my emotions in a positive way so that I am not sabotaging myself. Then there is other times, where I have the I don’t care attitude, I ignore my positive angel side.

Is this normal? I would venture to say yes, we all go through this and its ok to “live life” when we are going through our journey, BUT, where do you draw the line in controlling your behavior when emotions are involved?How deep do we allow ourselves to get before we realize we have gotten too steep?

The fact that we ARE able to control our behaviors and how we act upon them, is the challenge of being more aware and in tune with ourselves.

I am in the process of telling myself, Crystal it is not ok to let myself give in so easy when things didn’t turn out the way I hoped for, which results in me eating whatever I want, because the end result is I end up hurting myself more, emotionally and pushing myself back in my journey.
